Plus metric?

Oh, you mean plyometrics. Today was day 6 of my insanity. I am not going to lie, when I do these exercises it looks more like mild crazy then insanity. And Belive you, me. I know what that looks like. Anyways.

If you are asking yourself what hell that means, you are not alone. So here is an excerpt from wiki ;

Plyometrics, also known as "jump training" or "plyos", are exercises based around havingmuscles exert maximum force in as short a time as possible, with the goal of increasing both speed and power. This training focuses on learning to move from a muscle extensionto a contraction in a rapid or "explosive" way, for example with specialized repeated jumping.[1] Plyometrics are primarily used byathletes, especially martial artists and high jumpers,[2] to improve performance,[3] and are used in the fitness field to a much lesser degree.
A little clip art lady doing something plyometric. Basically it is hard. Up and down. Lots of jumping. LAND SOFT. that is all I know so far. The issue is 200lb geeks do not land soft. And if anyone knows where my core is, please email it to me, cuz my balance is embarassing.
