Got fat.

Starting again today. So I guess fitness for unhealthy people is a struggle. I have a mardi gras vacation in less than 5 weeks and I need to get a little health under my belt. Just to survive. Insanity tape to start today

Lost motivation

So apparently health is boring. I have lost most motivation. I didn't get fat. But I really need to revisit my quest to move from fat to fit. I got less fat. Didn't quite get to fit

Real gym

Went to Blackburn training center last Thursday. It was great. James was attentive. A little pushy, but the way he supposed to be. 5 circuits of exercises I could follow. I was extremely sore 2 days and then a little sore 2. He soreness deterred me from working out. I need to increase my drive. If I want it. I really need to want it. 

He was pricey and I think he tried to sneak on personal training as part of his rate. I have heard a ton of positive stuff about him and some not great things. I will say he knows his stuff. I do feel if I signed up and went 5 days a week I would get incredible results. 

My hang up sounds like an excuse but I don't think I can commit for 5 a week and his rate is way to high if I only go 3. 

The next stop is wow for cheap discount stuff. And then just have the wolf wrote me little daily routines. That will probably happen thuraday. I will keep you posted

Forgot how hard insanity was

After way too long off. I did some pure cardio today.  20mins. Then 20mins of run. 1.5 miles. Then did a baby pyramid of push ups and sit ups in the attic. 3.5.7. Now on the way to the pool for some tan and laps

Back at it for this fat guy.

Race tomorrow

So I went last nite to the avon first aid building and picked up my race packet. It is my first race packet and I really felt good. Ya know. There is no turning back now. And I will run this race. I am setting my goal at 35 minutes. I feel I can beat that and I feel that is a respectful time. 

I am starting to feel healthy now. I am not sure if I mentioned before that I have had really high blood pressure for like 4 years. Tried meds a bit. Then I went off them. I tried diet too. And really the only that works is exercise and smart eating. I cut as much salt as possible and since I have been exercising 20-30 mins a day for 3 weeks. I have had zero signs. 

I finally feel chubby and not fat. It is very exciting. Thank you to all of those that have been supportive. And I can't wait to out run the wolf tomorow!

Homework came in.

So while texting with my motivational life coach. I mentioned a few of my plans for training up until the 5k race on the 31st. I got in reply this... 

Apparently I had a schecule already worked out. Kind of classic. So this is my next 2 weeks. If you need me. I will be out there moving
